This week we’ll be discussing the parable of The Lost Sheep, found in Matthew 18:12–14
"What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?" Jesus poses what winds up being a rhetorical question to illustrate what should be obvious to his followers; lost, hurting, struggling people matter deeply in the kingdom. Heart check time this week. Do we desire to see those outside of our circles, the "other", our enemies included in God's design? What would it look like to live a life chasing lost sheep in your context?
